A salsa with a Mediterranean flair to serve with any soup, stew, pasta bowl, rice dish, breakfast eggs, taco, tostada salad, or, of course, chips.
- fresh tomatoes, diced
- green onion, thinly sliced
- fresh basil leaves, minced
- fresh parsley, minced
- dried oregano or fresh oregano leaves, minced
- green olives, thinly sliced
- jalapeño chile or other fresh chile, minced
- garlic clove, minced
- kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Mix together all of the ingredients and serve!
